Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is seeking an Operations Management Area Director in Minnesota. You will provide supervision, drive quality services, and oversee financial performance for the program area.

The role focuses on improving census, occupancy, community relations, and compliance while developing new start opportunities and ensuring excellent care for individuals served.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3–6 years of related experience and significant management in human services.
• Master’s degree in Human Services or equivalent as required by state.
• Licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, leadership, and supervision of staff at the program site to ensure quality services to individuals served.
• Oversee financial performance of the area, review financial statements, purchasing, billing compliance, and documentation.
• Implement area core growth strategy to increase census, maximize utilization and occupancy, and assist with new start development.
• Maintain relations with case managers, referral agents, legislators, and government officials; advocate for individuals served.
• Implement area strategies to maintain relations with individuals served, mentors, families, and guardians.
