Job summary

TealEnergi is seeking an Area Construction Manager to lead construction planning and execution for a major capital project in Arizona with occasional travel to Vancouver, Canada. The role requires collaboration with EPCM contractors, discipline superintendents, and project leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-driven delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 10+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience in mining, mineral processing, smelting, heavy industrial, or large capital projects preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Experience coordinating with EPCM contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive construction plans to support successful project execution and start-up.
• Coordinate construction activities from project definition through erection, commissioning, and handover.
• Review P&IDs, design drawings, specifications, process flow diagrams, and construction documentation to understand assigned project areas.
• Coordinate with discipline superintendents to understand construction priorities, sequencing, and upcoming work activities.
• Integrate owner-supplied equipment, utilities, control systems, reagents, raw materials, and ancillary systems into construction and completion plans.
• Direct and oversee the activities of consultants, contractors, and other project resources.
