Job summary

Big-D Heavy Industrial is seeking a Construction Manager for a traveling role based in Tempe, AZ. You will lead projects, coordinate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in construction management (or related field) and 7+ years of industrial construction experience, plus proficiency in Procore, P6, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 7+ years of related experience in industrial construction projects or equivalent combo of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall administration and technical direction to single or multiple projects.
• Maintain liaison with prime client contacts with customer service as a core focus.
• Establish project objectives and policies; enforce company and project policies.
• Oversee work on site when superintendent is not present and act as superintendent for subcontractors.
• Monitor construction and financial activities to meet design, budget, and schedule.
• Ensure Big-D’s corporate values are known and practiced.
