Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies in Fort Collins, CO, seeks an Area Community Manager to oversee up to four communities, protect value and maximize resident experiences while leading onsite maintenance, leasing and staff activities.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires strong knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, and resident relations, plus travel up to 20%. Compensation is $70,000–$80,000 plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Community Manager with Cardinal Group and 2 years in residential property management.
• Strong knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, residential law and resident relations.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between communities up to 20% of the time.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Google Platform.
• Ability to analyze a monthly financial statement and prepare detailed budgets and operating forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain responsibilities of Community Manager for assigned communities, with oversight of primary community and advisory role for sister communities.
• Mentor and assist with day-to-day activities of loss prevention, risk management, safety, maintenance, marketing, leasing and upkeep at sister communities.
• Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude with team members, residents and the public.
• Strive to improve performance to meet or exceed financial and operational goals across all assigned communities.
• Lead onsite maintenance, office and leasing teams at main community and assist with sister communities.
