Area Community Manager — Lead Multi-Community Operations

Job summary

Cardinal Group in Gainesville is seeking an Area Community Manager to oversee up to four communities and maximize resident value across sites.

You will lead onsite teams, coordinate leasing, maintenance, and resident relations, while monitoring budgets and performance metrics. Travel to sister communities is expected at least twice per month, with a focus on sustaining Cardinal Culture.

Qualifications

• Must have one (1) year of experience as a Community Manager with Cardinal Group and two (2) years’ experience as Community Manager in residential property management.
• Strong working knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, residential law and resident relations.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between communities up to 20% of the time.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Google Platform.
• Ability to analyze a monthly financial statement and prepare budgets and operating forecasts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned communities directly and advise sister communities.
• Mentor and assist with loss prevention, risk management, safety, maintenance, marketing, leasing and upkeep.
• Lead onsite maintenance, office and leasing teams at main community and assist with sister communities.
• Coordinate revenue collection and documentation following lease obligations.
• Provide leadership to Community Managers and Maintenance Team Leads in designated area.
• Ensure best pre-leasing practices and Entrata Dashboard usage across communities.
