Job summary

The Cardinal Group seeks an Area Community Manager in Knoxville to oversee up to four communities. This full-time, non-exempt role prioritizes protecting and enhancing community value and resident experience.

You will lead onsite teams, manage budgets, coordinate leasing and resident relations, and travel between sister communities at least twice monthly, ensuring performance meets annual goals and Cardinal culture.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Community Manager experience with Cardinal Group and 2 years in residential property management.
• Strong knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, residential law and resident relations.
• Ability to travel between communities up to 20% and to lead teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee primary community while advising sister communities.
• Lead onsite maintenance, office, and leasing teams.
• Coordinate repairs, rent charges, and lease issues with residents.
• Monitor Cardinal U trainings and ensure data integrity before HQ submission.
• Travel to sister communities at least twice per month.
• Assist with recruiting and onboarding for communities.
• Provide leadership to Community Managers and Maintenance Team Leads.
