Job summary

Hospitality Restaurant Group is seeking an Area Coach to lead 4–10 Taco Bell restaurants in the region. You will drive performance, hire and develop RGMs, and coach teams to meet annual operating plans.

This role requires strong leadership, travel between stores daily, solid financial acumen, and the ability to resolve customer issues quickly while maintaining positive relationships with staff.

Qualifications

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Proven coaching and development of managerial staff.
• Strong track record in customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license; willing to travel between stores daily.

Responsibilities

• Lead 4–10 Taco Bell restaurants and ensure Restaurant General Managers meet operating goals.
• Hire, develop, and coach RGMs and shift leaders; reinforce leadership principles.
• Coach RGMs on the “4 Rights” and provide regular feedback during 1:1 sessions.
• Analyze store performance and customer feedback; act decisively to improve results.
• Lead product and program rollouts and maintain high customer relations.

The Area Coach (AC) provides overall leadership and direct supervision of approximately 4 - 10 Taco Bell restaurants to ensure that each Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meets or exceeds the Annual Operating Plan established for their individual unit.

Role:

• People Role model the How We Work Together Principles.
• Find and hire and develop the best RGMs, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers.
• Coach your RGMs on the “4 Rights” in their restaurants and provide regular feedback during 1:1 sessions.
• Take action without being told, go beyond what is simply required and maintain a high activity level.
• Understand how customers are viewing your restaurants through scheduled visits and detailed analysis (VOC and CORE).
• Lead product and program rollouts with your RGMs to ensure success.
• Resolve Customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive Customer relations.
• Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers, employees and customers.
• Analyze the financial performance of your area and understand trends.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Area Coach position will possess:

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching and development of managerial employees.
• Proven ability to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional team building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical decision making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Must be able to travel between designated stores daily
