Job summary

Taco Bell Franchisee in the United States is seeking an Area Coach to provide leadership and direct supervision of multiple restaurants, ensuring each RGM meets targets and drives performance. You will recruit, train, and develop RGMs and shift managers, monitor performance, analyze customer feedback, and roll out programs across the area to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 4–10 Taco Bell restaurants.
• Hire, coach and develop RGMs and shift managers.
• Coach RGMs on the 4 Rights with regular 1:1 feedback.
• Drive action, beyond what is required, with high activity level.
• Analyze VOC and CORE to understand customer perceptions.
• Lead product and program rollouts to ensure success.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive relations.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude with staff and customers.
• Analyze area financial performance and trends.

The Area Coach (AC) provides overall leadership and direct supervision of approximately 4 - 10 Taco Bell restaurants to ensure that each Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meets or exceeds the Annual Operating Plan established for their individual unit.

Role:

• People Role model the How We Work Together Principles.
• Find and hire and develop the best RGMs, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers.
• Coach your RGMs on the “4 Rights” in their restaurants and provide regular feedback during 1:1 sessions.
• Take action without being told, go beyond what is simply required and maintain a high activity level.
• Understand how customers are viewing your restaurants through scheduled visits and detailed analysis (VOC and CORE).
• Lead product and program rollouts with your RGMs to ensure success.
• Resolve Customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive Customer relations.
• Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers, employees and customers.
• Analyze the financial performance of your area and understand trends.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Area Coach position will possess:

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching and development of managerial employees.
• Proven ability to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional team building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical decision making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Must be able to travel between designated stores daily
