Job summary

Hospitality Restaurant Group seeks an Area Coach to oversee 4–10 Taco Bell restaurants, ensuring teams meet operating plans and deliver strong results. You will hire and develop RGMs, coach on core practices, and drive program rollouts while maintaining customer satisfaction and positive relations.

Travel between designated stores daily is required; you will analyze financial performance and lead a proactive, high-energy leadership approach across the area.

Qualifications

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Proven ability to coach and develop managerial employees.
• Track record of achieving customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction.
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional team building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical decision making.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to travel between designated stores daily.
• Background checks are run on all management employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direct supervision of 4–10 Taco Bell restaurants to meet units' operating plans.
• Find, hire and develop RGMs, assistant general managers and shift managers.
• Coach RGMs on the '4 Rights' and provide regular 1:1 feedback.
• Take action proactively and maintain a high activity level.
• Assess how customers view restaurants through visits and VOC/CORE analysis.
• Lead product and program rollouts to ensure restaurant success.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive relations.
• Model a positive attitude with staff and customers.
• Analyze area financial performance and identify trends.

The Area Coach (AC) provides overall leadership and direct supervision of approximately 4 - 10 Taco Bell restaurants to ensure that each Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meets or exceeds the Annual Operating Plan established for their individual unit.

Role:

• People Role model the How We Work Together Principles.
• Find and hire and develop the best RGMs, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers.
• Coach your RGMs on the “4 Rights” in their restaurants and provide regular feedback during 1:1 sessions.
• Take action without being told, go beyond what is simply required and maintain a high activity level.
• Understand how customers are viewing your restaurants through scheduled visits and detailed analysis (VOC and CORE).

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Area Coach position will possess:
