Job summary

Hospitality Restaurant Group seeks an Area Coach to provide leadership and direct supervision of 4 to 10 Taco Bell restaurants, ensuring each Restaurant General Manager meets the Annual Operating Plan.

The ideal candidate will recruit and develop RGMs and Shift Managers, coach on the 4 Rights, analyze financial performance, and lead product rollouts while resolving customer issues and maintaining guest relations. Travel between stores is required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of multi-unit management experience.
• Proven ability to achieve high customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional team-building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills; strong analytical decision making.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to travel between designated stores daily.
• Background checks are run on all management employees.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop RGMs, Assistant General Managers and Shift Managers.
• Coach RGMs on the “4 Rights” in their restaurants and provide regular feedback during 1:1 sessions.
• Lead product and program rollouts with your RGMs to ensure success.
• Resolve Customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive Customer relations.
• Analyze the financial performance of your area and understand trends.
• Travel daily between stores as required.

The Area Coach (AC) provides overall leadership and direct supervision of approximately 4 - 10 Taco Bell restaurants to ensure that each Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meets or exceeds the Annual Operating Plan established for their individual unit.

Role:

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Area Coach position will possess:

• 5 years of successful, operational multi-unit management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching and development of managerial employees.
• Proven ability to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional team building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical decision making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy
