Job summary

ZoomCare is hiring an Area Manager to lead a team of Clinic Associates and Medical Assistants, optimizing clinic performance across zones. You will coach staff, manage KPIs, and ensure a best-in-class patient experience while driving profitability and integrating brand principles across multiple clinics.

The role requires travel between clinics, a background in healthcare leadership, and a hands-on approach in fast-paced environments. Portland-area candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or related field, preferred.
• 1+ years of management experience required, 3+ years, preferred.
• 3+ years of retail or customer service leadership, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solveing abilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate to business partners.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven success managing a team of over 10 people.
• Proven success managing business results and metrics.
• Strong character demonstrating a high degree of flexibility and resilience.
• Ability to coach a team to achieve specific outcomes.
• Proficient in Adobe, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Slack or related software and an ability to quickly learn new technology systems.
• Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP.
• CPR/BLS Certified, or ability to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Valid State issued non-commercial class driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to travel between and visit clinics for a majority of the work week, required.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational and financial performance including profit and loss, strategy development/deployment, and creation/execution of the operational playbook for all zones or facilities within the product line.
• Act as player/coach to mentor and lead a team of clinic staff; ensure a beautiful patient experience and develop clinic associates.
• Establish KPIs for the district to influence workflow efficiency, visit volumes, and patient experience.
• Drive business priorities and change readiness with an engaged, high-performing team.
• Lead the experience from attracting to engaging to retaining, aligning with brand principles.
• Communicate team needs to leadership concisely and effectively.
• Assess development needs and create promotion plans for clinic outcomes.
• Provide monthly analysis of workflows and clinic efficiencies for perfect visits and resources.
• Oversee facilities inventory management for each clinic in the area.
• Manage team performance and compliance with laws and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
