Job summary

ZoomCare is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of Clinic Associates and Medical Assistants across multiple clinics in the Portland area. You will coach staff, optimize operations, and drive patient experience metrics while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with travel between clinics a regular part of the job. This is a full-time on-site position based near Portland, OR.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or related field.
• 1+ years of management experience; 3+ years preferred.
• 3+ years in retail or customer service leadership, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Clinic Associates and Medical Assistants to deliver best-in-class patient experience.
• Drive clinic performance including P&L, strategy deployment, and operational playbooks.
• Mentor and develop clinic staff through coaching and feedback.
• Establish KPIs for workflow efficiency, visit volumes, and patient experience.
• Translate brand principles into tangible patient experiences across clinics.
• Collaborate with leadership to communicate team needs and development plans.
• Provide monthly analyses of workflows and clinic efficiencies.
