Job summary

HVMG - Hospitality Ventures Management Group is seeking an Area Catering Manager to lead planning and execution of catered events, partnering with clients to exceed expectations and drive revenue. You will coordinate with culinary and banquet teams to deliver seamless experiences, building relationships across clients and vendors.

The role emphasizes organization, strong communication, flexibility for varied schedules, and a path toward growth within hospitality and sales disciplines.

Qualifications

• College degree or two years of hotel experience.
• Previous experience in a similar or related position.

Responsibilities

• Build excellent relationships with clients, third parties, and community organizations to generate catering business for the hotel.
• Prospect for new business, respond to incoming RFPs and inquiries, and drive/contracts and BEOs.
• Communicate client expectations to the hotel team and ensure seamless execution of events.
• Support a progressive career path in sales, with exposure to group sales, food & beverage, and hotel operations.
