Job summary

Area Catering Manager at Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) leads planning and execution of hotel catered events, partnering with clients to exceed expectations and drive revenue. You will coordinate with culinary and banquet teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.

This role emphasizes relationship-building with clients and third parties, responding to RFPs, drafting contracts and BEOs, and aligning hotel operations with client expectations.

Qualifications

Hotel experience is a plus; applicants should have a college degree or two years of hotel experience.
Previous experience in a similar or related position is valuable.
Certifications may be considered forAdded qualifications.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with clients, third parties, and community organizations to generate catering business for the hotel.
Respond to incoming RFPs and inquiries, execute contracts and BEOs, and communicate client expectations to the hotel team.
Support guidance from the Director of Sales (Director of Catering) and contribute to a progressive career path in sales, food and beverage, or hotel operations.
