Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a field-based pharmaceutical sales professional to cover the Springfield, IL area, engaging Allergists and Pulmonologists while delivering clinically focused messages to launch and grow brand share. You will collaborate with medical science liaisons, market access, and thought leaders to develop territory plans and drive product utilization.

Required are a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in pharma/biotech sales, with travel as needed and a track record of meeting sales goals in

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device sales experience.
  • Ability to travel to meetings, trainings, and programs as necessary; additional travel may be required within the assigned territory.
  • Proven track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of integrity within compliance guidelines.
  • Ability to operate as a team player in cooperation with collaboration partners and internal colleagues.
  • 2+ years selling sub-cutaneous self-injectable or office-administered IV biologics preferred
  • 2 years calling on allergists or pulmonologists, or 2 years’ experience selling sub-cutaneous self-injectable or office-administered IV biologics preferred
  • 2+ years selling experience in Asthma or other Immunology disorders strongly preferred
  • Co-promotion experience preferred
  • Advanced clinically-based selling skills preferred
  • Proven track record of success with product launches preferred
  • Experience with in-servicing and training office staff, nurses, and office managers preferred
  • Passion and learning aptitude for science, with proactive strengthening of knowledge related to disease state, treatment options, and healthcare trends
  • Highly organized with strong account management skills

Responsibilities

  • Engage Allergists, Pulmonologists, and other key customers within the assigned geography
  • Present clinically focused selling messages to introduce, launch, and grow brand share and revenue
  • Consistently deliver product goals and meet or exceed individual business goals
  • Collaborate with Regeneron Sales Professional counterparts, Medical Science Liaisons, Field Access Specialists, Market Access teammates, Thought Leader Liaisons, and other field-based stakeholders
  • Address customer needs, identify market dynamics and trends, and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives
  • Develop working relationships with asthma experts, Allergy/Immunology/Pulmonology specialists, biologic coordinators, office staff, healthcare personnel, and patient advocacy support groups
  • Identify key opportunities and develop strategic business plans to generate product utilization and grow territory business
  • Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities
  • Maximize the territory budget to execute strategies and tactics and grow the business
  • Participate in or lead sales initiatives, industry congresses, local and regional meetings, and medical conferences
  • Coordinate and call upon large group practices and other key targets to drive product results
  • Establish relationships with thought leaders and drive industry-leading customer value in the assigned territory

  • 2+ years selling sub-cutaneous self-injectable or office-administered IV biologics preferred

  • 2 years calling on allergists or pulmonologists, or 2 years’ experience selling sub-cutaneous self-injectable or office-administered IV biologics preferred

  • 2+ years selling experience in Asthma or other Immunology disorders strongly preferred
