Job summary

Spring ISD is seeking an ARD Facilitator to implement the ARD/IEP process and support parents, case managers, and campus leaders in delivering appropriate instructional programs for students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment.

The role emphasizes high-quality collaboration, adherence to IDEA and state laws, and ongoing professional development in special education. Expect to work closely with administrators and teachers within a dynamic district environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Three years teaching experience with diverse learners.
• Preferred: Texas SPED certification.
• Preferred: Diagnostician/LSSP licensure.
• Three years ARD/IEP meetings experience.
• Three years ARD/IEP documentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ARD committee meetings and manage ARD paperwork using district IEP program.
• Provide staff development training on ARD decision making, state assessment, ESY eligibility, services, and data collection.
• Collaborate with Team Lead, Department Chair, Case Managers, and campus administrators to support IEP implementation.
• Perform folder reviews to ensure ARD and eligibility folders meet standards.
• Lead and supervise the ARD/IEP process in compliance with district policies.
• Collaborate with campus coordinator on state assessment for students with disabilities.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information per FERPA.
