Job summary

ASRC Energy Services in Alaska is seeking a Nutaaq Apprentice to assist journey-level trades across various tasks on the North Slope. You will gain experience under direct supervision, handling installation, repairs, and construction work while adhering to safety and company guidelines.

The role supports a zero-incident safety culture and requires NSTC safety training, a high school diploma or GED, and an Alaska driver’s license. Preference for NSTC and shareholder status is noted.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • NSTC safety training certification.
  • Must be an ASRC shareholder to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist journey-level trade worker with general trade and craft tasks including troubleshooting, repairs, installation, and construction tasks.
  • Follow guidelines, handbooks, state and federal codes, and verbal and written instructions to perform assigned tasks.
  • Perform skilled trade work commensurate with years of experience and training.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to the selected trade.
  • Move, load, and carry materials and equipment as required.
  • Maintain tools and equipment inventory.
  • Prepare routine reports and safety audits.
  • Maintain monthly hour logs in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
