ASRC Energy Services in Alaska is seeking a Nutaaq Apprentice to assist journey-level trades across various tasks on the North Slope. You will gain experience under direct supervision, handling installation, repairs, and construction work while adhering to safety and company guidelines.
The role supports a zero-incident safety culture and requires NSTC safety training, a high school diploma or GED, and an Alaska driver’s license. Preference for NSTC and shareholder status is noted.

ASRC is a private, for-profit corporation owned by approximately 13,000 Inupiaq shareholders. AES is a subsidiary employing a large workforce and providing services to the energy industry.
The Nutaaq is responsible for assisting journey-level trade workers in all phases of work within a specific trade area. This position works under the direct supervision of a journey-level trade worker and performs a variety of tasks to gain experience and improve technical understanding and skills in the use of trade tools and equipment.

When working on the North Slope of Alaska, lodging and meals are provided. Camps offer meals, housing options, Wi-Fi, and amenities such as housekeeping, laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, and recreation spaces. Accommodations and policies vary by site and will be reviewed during on-site orientation.
