Job summary

Worley in Prudhoe Bay, AK is seeking a Heavy Truck Mechanic for a remote/rotational schedule. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, rebuilding and repair of PACCAR equipment, tractors, water and fuel trucks, both in the shop and in the field.

Qualified candidates will have extensive heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, NSTC certification or equivalent training, and the ability to work safely in extreme cold.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of heavy equipment maintenance experience or an associate degree/certification with two (2) years of experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to be covered by Worley auto insurer.
• NSTC certification training available through Worley if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and rebuilds PACCAR equipment, tractors, water, vac and fuel trucks.
• Diagnoses, repairs, rebuilds and maintains equipment; tests performance post-repair.
• Works on engines, hydraulics, electrical systems and transmissions.
• Performs safety observations and works in shop or field as required.
• Reads schematics and manuals; uses diagnostic tools and computers.
