Job summary

ASRC Energy Services, LLC seeks a Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic on the North Slope to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy vehicles and equipment, including cranes, loaders, dozers, and generators.

The role requires at least five years of experience, a valid US driver’s license, NSTC safety certification, and the ability to work 84 hours per week on 2x2 or 3x3 rotations in a remote Arctic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• NSTC safety training certification required.
• U.S. driver's license required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work 84 hours per week on 2×2 or 3×3 rotation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect heavy vehicles and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Repair and maintain heavy construction vehicles and equipment (cranes, loaders, dozers, etc.).
• Disassemble/assemble components; read electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Supervise apprentice workers and ensure safe work practices.
• Maintain tools, inventory, and work area; perform routine maintenance.
