Job summary

BlackFish Federal is hiring a Material Handler to support the National Archives and Records Administration. The role operates in a warehouse environment with a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday schedule and a pay rate of $23.18 per hour plus benefits.

The position includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, vacation, sick leave and disability coverage. Responsibilities include locating and organizing file containers, verifying pull lists, and preparing documents for scanning.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs regularly.
Must be able to climb ladders to reach shelving up to 15 feet high.
Must pass a drug screen and a background check.
This contract requires that all candidates are U.S. citizens.

Responsibilities

Locate containers or folders on shelving using pull lists or reports; containers may be on floor or shelving up to 15' high.
Remove containers from shelving; verify pull list accuracy and report discrepancies.
Place containers/folders on streamliners with correct orientation and visible IDs.
Move records to the designated disposal review area.
Palletize disposable records, label, stack and shrink wrap.
Audit folders and fulfill references; sign in batches and document completion.
Retrieve documents for scanning and prepare for digitization; ensure image clarity.
Use handheld devices to complete basic data entry and assist with box list creation.
