Job summary

BlackFish Federal is seeking a Material Handler to work in a warehouse environment supporting NARA. The role runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and includes a full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life, vacation, sick leave, and disability).

The position requires physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs, climb ladders up to 15 feet, and pass drug and background checks. U.S. citizenship is required and a high school diploma or GED is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Locate containers or folders on shelving using pull lists or reports, including reaching up to 15 ft with a pulpit ladder.
• Remove containers from shelving, verify pull list accuracy, and log discrepancies.
• Place containers or folders in order for scanning or shelving, ensuring visibility of identifying numbers.
• Move records to designated areas and palletize/prepare for disposal or relocation as required.
• Retrieve requested files, document handling, and sign-off batches in logs.
• Scan documents, verify image quality, and prepare for digital archiving.
• Enter basic data in spreadsheets and assist with box lists and daily totals.
