Job summary

PBK is seeking a Managing Principal for its California office to drive strategy, client relations, and delivery excellence. You will lead project teams, shape the culture, and recruit top talent, while maintaining exceptionally strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

Must be a Registered Architect with at least 15 years in architecture and 10+ years leading teams, with experience in K-12 and/or higher education. The role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits in California.

Qualifications

• Must have prior K-12 and/or Higher Education experience.
• Must be a Registered Architect in your state of residence.
• Must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the architectural profession with no less than 10 years of experience managing project teams and processes.

Responsibilities

• Strategic: define and guide the strategic plan for the Regional area with PBK's resources and management support.
• Operational: deliver services, shape culture, and execute processes; oversee client relations and project team performance.
• Marketing/Business Development: establish and develop relationships with potential clients; collaborate with Marketing & BD to create opportunities.
• Management/Leadership: develop staff capabilities and recruit new talent to strengthen the team.
