Job summary

Balco, Inc. is seeking a customer service associate to handle orders, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with customers, contractors, and architects. You will enter data into the JD Edwards ERP and help ensure timely processing of quotes and samples.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork within a fast-paced environment. A background in construction or architectural products is a plus, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

2+ years in customer service using an online ordering platform and providing technical support.
Experience troubleshooting technical problems and offering solutions.
Experience with MS Suite, Crystal Reports, and ERP software.
Exposure to architecture/construction/engineering firms is preferred but not required.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Communicate with customers, contractors, and architects via multiple channels.
Respond to inquiries, acknowledge issues, and coordinate resolutions with teammates.
Coordinate orders, quotes, samples, and detail requests; entry into ERP system (JDE).
Maintain accurate job history and pricing in Sales folders; prepare orders for scheduling.
Provide special pricing for reps as needed and support supervisor decisions.
