Invitation Homes Inc. is seeking a Sr. Director of Architecture in Dallas, TX, to lead our architecture practice and guide the engineering organization through DevOps and CI/CD initiatives.

You will own our architecture strategy and partner with senior leaders to deliver scalable platforms for residents and associates. The role requires 15+ years in software development and architecture, with 10+ years of leadership experience, deep API knowledge, and expertise in AWS, IaC, and modern CI/CD

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• 10+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into architecture and execution.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise APIs and messaging patterns.
• Experience with AWS, IaC, and modern CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture strategy across the engineering organization.
• Hire, develop, and coach engineering managers and teams.
• Define goals and oversee engineering execution with emphasis on code quality and rapid deployment.
• Own and run the Solution Architecture practice and guide cross-team collaboration.
• Advance security integration throughout the software development lifecycle.
