Job summary

MG2 in Boston is seeking an Architectural Staff (Level 2) to drive architectural construction documents, collaborate with external consultants, and guide internal teams through design phases. You will support construction administration and close‑out to ensure precision and excellence across projects with national reach.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture and 6+ years of professional experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating architectural construction documents; previous documentation of various project types, scale, and complexity preferred.
• Experience in all aspects of construction administration including RFI / submittal review, field reports, and project close‑out procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production and coordination of contract deliverables including field surveys, design drawings, construction documents, exhibits, and specifications.
• Collaborate with internal design staff on integrating deliverables into contract documents and specs.
• Coordinate project deliverables with external consultants and project partners.
• Generate code research and feasibility studies, including AHJ coordination and meetings.
• Provide administrative support for project teams (agendas, minutes, trackers, logs, reports).
• Ensure firm documentation standards and MG2 templates are followed; guide staff on design standards.
• Assist with generating accurate project specifications aligned with scope and contract.
• Participate in QA/QC reviews of all deliverables and submittals.
• Coordinate external submittals to local permitting authorities and AHJs.
• Participate in construction administration activities including site visits and field reports.
• Produce accurate work aligned with project schedules and budgets.
