Job summary

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, seeks an Architectural Staff (Level 2) in Boston, MA to drive project delivery from design through close‑out. You will develop construction documents, coordinate with consultants, and guide internal teams through the design process.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, compliance with standards, and effective communication in English, with compensation ranging from $70,000 to $85,000 annually and a path for growth within national and global projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 6+ years of professional architecture or design firm experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Demonstrated experience using collaboration tools such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
• Experience coordinating architectural construction documents; multiple project types/scales preferred.
• Experience in construction administration including RFI/submittal review, field reports, and project close-out.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for job communications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production and coordination of contract deliverables including design drawings, construction documents, exhibits, and specifications, ensuring alignment with contract and design intent.
• Coordinate with internal staff to integrate deliverables into contract documents and specifications, considering jurisdictional requirements and program guidelines.
• Coordinate deliverables with external consultants and project partners.
• Generate code research and feasibility studies, coordinating with AHJ representatives as needed.
• Provide admin support: agendas/minutes, project trackers, RFIs, submittals, and reports.
• Ensure adherence to MG2 documentation standards and templates; guide staff on design standards.
• Assist in generating accurate project specifications aligned with scope and design intent.
• Participate in QA/QC reviews of all deliverables and coordination with consultants.
• Coordinate submittals to local permitting authorities and AHJs and participate in site visits and field reports.
• Contribute to construction administration deliverables and responses for issuance.
• Produce timely work in line with project schedules and budgets.
