Job summary

HKS INC is seeking a Construction Specifications Coordinator to join our Dallas team. You will support project teams with technical specifications, maintain specification masters, and assist with archival and QA/QC processes across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has a professional degree in a related field and 5+ years of architectural experience, including specification writing. Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and eSpecs is preferred, along with MS Office. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or professional degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 1+ year of specification writing experience (5+ years architectural experience preferred).
• Certified Construction Specifier designation is preferred.
• Familiarity with sustainable design concepts is a plus.
• Proficient with Bluebeam Revu, eSpecs and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Construction Specifications group to meet project needs.
• Assist in packaging, back checking format, and issuing project specifications.
• Maintain the HKS specification masters and accessibility to spec platforms.
• Support project managers in specifications archival and QA/QC reviews.
• Assist in training new staff in specification writing software.
