Job summary

HNI Corporation, a global family of brands for the workplace and home, seeks an Architectural Solutions Manager to support the Washington, DC territory. Frequent travel is expected in this role.

You will provide deep understanding of architectural product offerings, offering technical expertise to external partners and internal sales teams, and you will collaborate with dealer partners and end users to promote architectural solutions and products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Previous Architectural products sales experience preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in consultative sales environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and understand construction documents providing technical solutions and understanding of project scope related to construction, design, and architecture.
• Provide supportive/consultative sales support and training to the Allsteel customer and territory sales team related to architectural solutions and products.
• Maintain and provide solid understanding knowledge of construction practices, international building codes, and ADA requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers, dealer partners, end users, and Allsteel members to promote Architectural Solutions and products.
• Perform needs analysis with customer and influencer to provide architectural product solutions, utilizing the tools and resources provided.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and strong technical skills related to design and/or architecture.
• Successfully identify and develop sales leads for new business, driving close rates and generating revenue opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Identify and inform field sales force of business development opportunities within client organizations.
• Work across the sales organization to achieve sales goals.

What We Need:

As an Architectural Solutions Manager, you will support Allsteel’s direct selling efforts by supplying a deep understanding of Architectural Product offerings and applications providing technical expertise and resources to our external partners and internal sales teams.

What You Will Do:
