Job summary

Sierra Pacific Windows is seeking an Architectural Consultant to cover New York City, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. You will drive sales by identifying opportunities, building relationships with architects and firms, and delivering technical presentations.

The ideal candidate will read and interpret construction drawings, provide product specifications, and travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events. A bachelor’s degree and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and self-starter abilities.
• Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Team player with a collaborative attitude.
• Fenestration industry knowledge preferred.
• Established relationships with local architectural community a plus.
• Strong computer and mathematics skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by identifying opportunities, developing relationships, building brand awareness and promoting Sierra Pacific Windows products.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with Architects, Architectural Firms and key accounts.
• Conduct product and AIA accredited presentations for the architectural and design communities.
• Be a consultant and expert on all products manufactured by Sierra Pacific Windows.
• Provide technical information and write specifications with objective of increased sales.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Participate in industry trade shows and networking events.
• Use bid search tools and CRM as directed by management.
• Travel is required.
