Job summary

Arcadis in Portland, OR seeks a Project Manager for Education projects to lead multi‑discipline teams through programming, design development, and construction documentation. You will coordinate client expectations, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure quality and compliance across phases.

The role requires a license in Oregon, 7+ years in architectural practice, and strong leadership. Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture required.
• Architectural license in Oregon preferred.
• Minimum 7 years in architectural design with project management.
• Proficient with Revit, Bluebeam, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Experience with educational architecture, especially K–12.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of multiple architectural projects.
• Manage programming, design development, docs, and construction administration.
• Serve as primary client liaison; define objectives and scope.
• Develop work plans, staffing, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor financial performance, identify risks, implement actions.
• Coordinate teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead design coordination, code compliance, and constructability.
• Prepare accurate construction documents per standards.
• Lead QA/QC reviews and change management.
• Mentor project team and support professional growth.
• Support client presentations and business development efforts.
