Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Architect to lead the health, quality, financial performance, schedule, and successful delivery of multiple architectural projects in Portland, Oregon. You will serve as the primary client contact, coordinate internal and external teams, and provide architectural leadership across all phases, balancing design intent with practical delivery.

The role requires 7+ years of design practice, an architecture degree, and likely an Oregon license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture.
• 7+ years of progressive architectural design experience with complex projects.
• Architectural license in Oregon preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes, permitting, construction documents, specifications, and construction administration.
• Strong client service, presentation, problem solving, decision making, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of multiple architectural projects while maintaining client expectations, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Manage projects through programming, design development, construction documentation, permitting, and construction administration.
• Serve as primary client liaison; define objectives, scope, progress, and satisfaction.
• Develop and manage work plans, staffing, schedules, budgets, fees, milestones, and deliverables.
• Lead architectural design coordination, code compliance, constructability, and consultant integration.
• Direct the preparation of coordinated construction documents and QA/QC reviews.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, fee estimates, and contracts; oversee project closeout.
