Architectural Project Manager - Retail Store Development

Duration: 5-7 months

Hours/week: ~20/week

Location: Remote, working in PST

We're seeking an organized, proactive Architectural Project Manager to lead a multi-site retail design and construction program. In this part-time contract role, you will coordinate approximately five retail locations ranging from fixture integrations and refreshes to full-store renovations.

Working closely with design, engineering, production, vendors, contractors, and client stakeholders, you will keep projects moving from planning through delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented project manager who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

• Manage schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and action items across multiple retail projects.
• Coordinate internal teams, clients, vendors, general contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, document decisions, and drive follow-up on outstanding items.
• Identify schedule risks early and coordinate solutions to maintain project momentum.
• Build and maintain project budgets, track costs, and communicate budget status to leadership.
• Organize project documentation and ensure timely, accurate distribution of information.
• Onboard and brief vendors on project requirements, schedules, and expectations.
• Monitor vendor and contractor deliverables, resolve issues, and keep external partners aligned.
• Support senior project leadership while contributing to consistent project-management processes.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in architectural project management, retail design or construction, commercial interiors, or a related field.
• Strong experience managing schedules, budgets, documentation, and project deliverables.

Role Details

Part-time contract engagement of approximately 20 hours per week for five months, with potential extension. Some travel may be required around April and May as project launches approach.
