Burke Special Projects is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to join our in-house design team, managing tenant improvement projects from initial design through construction administration. This role bridges design and field execution, owning drawings, permitting, and code compliance while staying closely engaged with our field team through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and 6+ years in architectural project management.
• Working knowledge of building codes, zoning, and permitting.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings and managing construction documents.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Strong communication bridging design, field, clients, and inspectors.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural scope from schematic design through construction documents and construction administration.
• Coordinate with clients, internal design team, field/construction staff, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Manage entitlements, permitting, and code compliance across a variety of project types.
• Conduct site visits and construction observation.
• Serve as a responsive point of contact for the field team's design and drawing questions during construction.
• Track project scope, schedule, and any design-related change orders.
• Client-facing communication and progress reporting as needed.
