Job summary

Ci Design, Inc. in Boston seeks an experienced project accountant to oversee financial management for a portfolio within the Mission Critical practice.

Reporting to the COO, you will manage project setup, invoicing, budgeting and closeout. You will partner with project managers, finance, AP/AR, and senior leadership to ensure contractual compliance, accurate reporting, and continuous process improvements in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in project accounting within professional services (architecture/engineering/construction).
• Ability to analyze financial data and create accurate reports.
• Knowledge of WBS, budgeting, and contract invoicing processes.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial aspects of projects from setup through closeout.
• Prepare accurate invoicing and contract compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Finance, AP/AR to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collections.
• Implement process improvements and internal controls.
• Develop project budgets and change documentation.
