Job summary

Thornton Tomasetti in the United States is seeking a Project Director for our Forensics Practice. You’ll independently evaluate, adapt, and apply advanced architectural concepts to challenging forensic problems and contribute to proposals while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You’ll travel to project sites, develop engineering approaches, communicate clearly with clients and legal teams, and pursue licensure, with a path toward becoming a recognized technical leader within TT.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture (required or equivalent).
  • 4+ years architectural experience; construction administration/field experience preferred.
  • Must be working toward architectural licensure.
  • Ability to independently develop engineering approaches and troubleshoot novel challenges.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and desire to grow into a technical leader.

Responsibilities

  • Handle complex forensic investigations and develop innovative solutions for repair and remediation.
  • Prepare deliverables that communicate clearly with clients and legal teams.
  • Proactively coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal experts.
  • Contribute to proposals and represent TT’s technical excellence with clients.
  • Travel to project sites to conduct forensic investigations.

Your Role

As a Project Director in our Forensics Practice, you’ll independently evaluate, adapt, and apply advanced architectural concepts to challenging forensic problems. You’ll help influence technical direction, contribute to proposals and thought leadership, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
