Job summary

Interplan in Orlando is seeking an Architectural Project Coordinator to join our team. You will produce construction documents, run small projects with minimal oversight, and coordinate with CAD staff, Project Architect, and clients to deliver accurate, cost-effective designs on schedule.

Candidates should have 3+ years in commercial architecture, a Bachelor’s in Architecture preferred, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience on commercial architecture projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture preferred.
• Preparation of construction documents.
• Understanding of zoning and building codes.
• Architectural licensure or path to licensure is a plus.
• Know-how with AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp; Revit a plus.
• Knowledge of MEP drawings and systems.
• Strong communication with officials, clients and contractors.
• Team player who can also work independently.

Responsibilities

• Produces architectural construction documents.
• Runs a small project or series of small projects with minimal oversight.
• Solves design issues and produces documents and specs.
• Completes designated scope of work within time budgets.
• Delegates and reviews CAD Technician work.
• Assists with coordination of project efforts to ensure cost-effective execution.
• Researches and applies codes with limited interaction with authorities.
• Takes initiative to learn new architectural skills.
• Coordinates with engineering disciplines and runs kickoff meetings.
• Receives project information from the Project Architect/Manager and client.
• Works with the Project Architect/Manager to provide strong customer service.
