Job summary

CI Design, Inc. in Boston seeks an Accounts Coordinator to manage the financials of a portfolio within the Mission Critical practice. Reporting to the COO, you will handle project setup, invoicing, and closeout.

This full-time role requires strong Excel skills and experience with project accounting, billing, and internal controls. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Finance, AP/AR, and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience managing finances of multiple projects.
• Experience in architecture/engineering/construction industry preferred.
• Knowledge of billing, contract compliance and invoicing procedures.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Financial management of projects including setup, maintenance, invoicing, and closure.
• Build relationships with internal business partners to ensure collaboration.
• Organize and prioritize workload to meet deliverables; escalate as needed.
• Implement process improvements identified by management.
• Collaborate with PMs on WBS and contract-compliant invoices.
• Evaluate project setup and budget changes for contractual compliance.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collections.
