Jobot is seeking an Intermediate-Level Architect to join our growing team in Chicago. This role focuses on handling complex design-build projects, taking greater responsibility in both design and technical execution, and advancing professionally.

The candidate will contribute to projects from concept through completion, with emphasis on design development, documentation, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 per year.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 3–5 years of professional architectural experience, preferably within an architecture or AEC firm.
  • Strong experience with both design development and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with architectural design and documentation software, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and lead portions of the design process from conceptual design through detailed documentation.
  • Ability to independently produce and manage architectural drawings, models, presentations, and construction documents.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, materials, and sustainable design practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including architecture, engineering, construction, and external consultants.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage individual project responsibilities, meet deadlines, and contribute to project schedules and budgets.

Job Details
