Job summary

Recruiting Resources, Inc. in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Architectural Project Engineer to support the design, engineering, and production of custom architectural millwork and woodworking projects.

You will produce and review detailed millwork drawings using AutoCAD and coordinate with project teams. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in architectural engineering or millwork, read and interpret drawings, and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in architectural engineering, millwork, woodworking, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
Experience with custom millwork or cabinetry is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Create and modify detailed shop drawings and architectural millwork drawings using AutoCAD.
Review architectural plans, specifications, and project requirements.
Prepare drawings for production, fabrication, and installation.
Coordinate with project managers, designers, architects, and production teams.
Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, materials, and constructability.
Assist with project takeoffs, material specifications, and engineering details.
Address revisions, RFIs, and field conditions as needed.
