Job summary

Millworks By Design in Los Angeles is seeking a Millwork Engineer to produce accurate, buildable shop drawings and support projects from design intent through fabrication and installation. You will interpret architectural drawings, coordinate with project managers and fabricators, and translate design intent into practical engineering solutions while maintaining schedules in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a collaborative mindset

Qualifications

• 5+ years of millwork engineering experience required.
• Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD
• Strong ability to read and interpret architecture + shop drawings
• English required; bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 2D CAD drawings for interior and exterior millwork.
• Prepare drawing packages for review, client approval, and fabrication.
• Interpret drawings, renderings, models, and specs quickly and accurately.
• Translate design intent into buildable engineering solutions for fabrication and installation.
