Job summary

Crafted to Measure is seeking an experienced Architectural Millwork Engineer / Drafter to join our team in Utah. The role focuses on turning architectural plans, field information, and project requirements into clear, buildable information for customers and production.

You will bridge Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Production, owning projects from review through production drawings. The ideal candidate will combine technical ability with practical problem solving, possess

Qualifications

Experience producing detailed shop drawings from architectural construction documents.
Experience with architectural millwork, cabinetry, casework, commercial interiors, or a closely related field.
Strong CAD and/or millwork engineering software experience.
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, and specifications.
Understanding of cabinetry and millwork construction methods.
Knowledge of materials, hardware, fasteners, and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

Review architectural drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project information.
Develop accurate shop drawings and submittal packages for custom architectural millwork.
Engineer cabinetry, casework, wall panels, reception desks, and other millwork products.
Translate design intent into manufacturable solutions.
Coordinate dimensions, materials, hardware, finishes, and installation methods.
