Job summary

Millworks By Design in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Project Manager with experience in high-end residential or commercial millwork to lead complex projects from award through final installation and closeout.

You will guide design teams through design intent confirmation, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with general contractors, architects, interior designers, homeowners, and internal teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in residential millwork or architectural woodworking project management.
• End-to-end management from award to closeout for high-end projects.
• Strong reading of architectural/shop drawings and finish schedules.
• Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple high-end residential millwork projects from kickoff through completion.
• Serve as primary contact for GC, architects, designers, and homeowners.
• Run project meetings, set actions, and keep stakeholders aligned.
• Guide design intent and submittals with fabrication realities in view.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, approvals, and documentation through closeout.
• Build and maintain schedules reflecting engineering, production, procurement, and field constraints.
• Own budgets, track costs, and manage change orders to stay within budget.
• Conduct site visits, coordinate field conditions, and resolve issues early.
