The role focuses on research of historic resources, field surveys, NR eligibility evaluation, and preparing Section 106 reports for NHPA compliance. Ideal candidates will have strong architectural knowledge, NR criteria experience, and excellent research, writing, editing, and MS Office skills; willingness to travel for fieldwork and to collaborate

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of American architectural types and styles.
• Understanding of applying National Register evaluation criteria to historic resources.
• Experience photographing historic resources.
• Exceptional research, writing, and editing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsabilités

• Undertaking research on a variety of historic resource types.
• Conducting field surveys to identify historic resources.
• Evaluating resources for National Register eligibility.
• Preparing reports under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and amendments.
