Qualifications

• Minimum education is MA/MHP/MS in architectural history, historic preservation, history, archaeology, or a closely related field.
• Up to 1–2 years of practical experience.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork and historic resource surveys.
• Ability to prepare National Register nominations and archival research.
• Strong communication and professional reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fieldwork - including historic resource surveys and evaluations.
• Prepare National Register nominations.
• Conduct archival research using primary and secondary resources.
• Effectively discuss projects with colleagues and clients.
• Manage budgets and schedules; and
• Write professional technical reports and publications.
