Responsibilities

• Form a review of the contract documents and detail opening quantities for a project.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to verify materials and labor estimates.
• Review project for cost-saving measures compliant with specifications.
• Add hardware locations based on manufacturer’s recommendations, Schiller standards or ADA requirements.
• Write detailed notes outlining issues or verifications for guidance during the submittal process.
• Create and send submittal documents including cut sheets, color samples, elevations for full submittal package.
• Update fore-submission after submittals or prepare for ordering by the Project Manager.
• Ensure quotes are viable prior to job handoff.
• Work closely with Project Manager until submittals are approved.
• Communication is key in this role with internal and external customers.
