Job summary

Cuhaci Peterson Architects, Engineers & Planners, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Designer II to design and produce architectural construction documents under supervision, coordinating with a Project Architect and other disciplines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and 5–8 years in an architectural firm, with advanced AutoCAD/REVIT skills and strong knowledge of codes and construction practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture (master’s preferred) with 5–8 years in an architectural firm.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and/or REVIT is required.
• Solid understanding of architecture, building construction and codes; strong written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Run projects with minimal oversight and deliver construction documents.
• Design and produce construction documents and specifications.
• Complete designated scope within allotted time budget.
• Delegate and review work of team members and interns.
• Manage permitting with minimal assistance and respond to comments from authorities.
• Assist in providing Construction Administration Services.
• Resolve technical issues and maintain CP standards and QC.
