Job summary

Cuhaci Peterson Architects, Engineers & Planners, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Architectural Designer II to lead design and production of construction documents under supervision.

You will set up, coordinate, and deliver documents in line with codes and standards. The role requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and 5–8 years of experience, with advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and/or REVIT and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, master's preferred; 5–8 years of architectural experience.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
• Strong understanding of architecture, building construction and codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run projects with minimal oversight.
• Design and produce construction documents and specifications.
• Complete designated scope of work within time budget.
• Delegate, review and manage work of junior staff on the team.
• Manage permitting process and respond to comments for architecture and consultants.
• Assist in providing Construction Administration Services.
• Resolve technical issues and answer questions.
• Maintain CP standards and QC throughout projects.
