Job summary

BKV Group seeks an intermediate Architectural Designer to join our Development team, focusing on front-end planning and design for Market-rate and Affordable Multi-family, Student Living, Senior Living and Mixed-use projects. You will collaborate with the Design Partner and Senior Designer to explore and develop design concepts.

Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Adobe Suite, and Office Suite is required, with 4–8 years of architectural experience. Compensation range: $75,000–$85,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture degree required.
• 4–8 years of architecture experience.
• Strong design and graphic skills; able to communicate design effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts with the Design Partner or Senior Designer and independently when needed.
• Create elevations, plans and details from concept to design development.
• Produce presentation materials and support design research.
• Use 3D modeling, planning and diagramming to explore schemes.

Job description

BKV Group seeks an intermediate Architectural Designer to join our Development team, focusing on the front-end planning and design of Development projects (e.g. Market-rate and Affordable Multi-family, Student Living, Senior Living and/or Mixed-use). We’re looking for someone with a proactive and positive attitude and excellent organizational skills who seeks to thrive and work effectively in a highly collaborative environment.

• Work with the Design Partner or Senior Designer while also being able to demonstrate, explore and generate design concepts independently.
• Use 3d modeling, planning, diagramming to explore and develop design schemes.
• Assist in creating presentation materials.
• Design research.
• Develop and refine design from concept to design development, including generating elevations, plans and details under the direction of the Design Partner and Senior Designer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture.
• 4 – 8 years of experience in architecture.
• Ability to initiate and develop design studies.
• Strong design and graphic skills, and the ability to communicate design effectively.
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Adobe Suite, Office Suite.

Compensation range: $75,000 – $85,000 annually, or commensurate with experience.
