Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks an Architectural Designer to join our multi-sector practice in the Cleveland area. You will work under the guidance of a Senior Designer or Architect and contribute to design development, documentation, and coordination across disciplines.

Our position emphasizes collaboration, sustainable design, and the integration of architectural and engineering concepts. Licensure is not required but encouraged as a short-term goal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 3–7 years of experience in architectural design.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keep Project Manager informed of progress, deadlines and deliverables.
• Assist in monitoring and coordination of consultant work and deadlines.
• Develop design through sketches, models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visuals.
• Utilize Revit and BIM technologies for 3D models.
• Prepare documentation in various architectural phases (site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, details).
• Coordinate building systems to ensure design intent.
• Assist in contract administration tasks.
• Attend project coordination meetings with internal and external teams.
• Implement sustainable design principles in the building design.
